This road trip has been great, we were on a 4 game win streak until last night. In the top of the ninth the score was 7-6 Yankees, we had runners on 2nd and 3rd with one out. The next two batters popped out to the infield to end our threat and our winning streak. I had been warming up in the bullpen incase we tied or took the lead,obviously neither happened. On a more positive note, i did get to see Bill Murray, the actor who starred in classics such as Ghostbusters and Caddyshack! Also, last friday i got to meet Mr. Belding from Saved by the Bell at the Augusta Greenjackets game! Augusta was a great series for us, as a pitching staff we recorded our 5th shutout of the year and I recorded my first save of the year! We have one more game today in Charleston, South Carolina before making a long bus ride back to Charleston, West Virginia to start our weekend series with the Kannapolis Intimidators.

Just got back from our second 8 day road trip of the season. It went well over all as a team. I had two outings which I was pleased with. I had my first career Complete Game a day before mother's day and fortunately my mom and step dad were able to be there to see it. I'm off to a good start with the season so now I just have to stay even kill and keep a level head. I'm continue to work even harder and just prepare for my next start. And when it gets here, it's just like any other start. One pitch at a time!

Hey, we're finishing up our road trip. We are currently in Charleston West Virginia. I pitched today and had a decent outing. 6 innings 1 run. We won the game 7-3. After the game I went to the movies with some teammates and saw The Priest (which was not good at all) and actually got lucky and cause my old roommate Jason Townsend met me there and we went out to dinner afterwards and caught up on a lot of things and told a lot of stories. It was a lot of fun! I think I'll be able to see him throw tomorrow which will be the first time since we played together at Chipola so this will be exciting.
